Talent Acquisition Coordinator

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets, headquartered in Worthington, Ohio, is searching for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team. This position will partner with the Talent Acquisition team to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the practices and to support the delivery of the best talent to our rapidly growing organization. This position is an essential contributor to the growth of the company in securing the talent to ensure MedVet's ongoing success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collect and maintain new hire paperwork process
  • Coordinate and communicate recruiting schedules and travel for veterinarian candidates
  • Manage the job posting process
  • Support New Hire Orientation
  • Obtain and conduct background checks
  • Assist team in facilitating a positive candidate experience and serve as a passionate and knowledgeable MedVet ambassador
  • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity and success Create and implement employment marketing strategies to attract active and passive job seekers
  • Partner with Recruiters through recruitment cycle
  • Review, edit and update job descriptions as needed
  • Efficiently manage work flow and processes

Our ideal candidate has one or more years of experience in recruitment/HR or related experience. Experience in the medical and/or veterinary industry is a plus but not required. In addition, this position requires:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Flexibility and drive to meet tight deadlines, assist on multiple projects and prioritize them appropriately
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office products and in-depth knowledge of internet/social media

All candidates must complete an acceptable background check, including references and a pre-employment drug test.
