Medical Director

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets is currently seeking Medical Director(s) to join our leadership team in our Mobile, Alabama practice.  This is a part-time administrative and part-time clinical opportunity, depending on the candidate and the needs of the region or practice.

Founded in 1988, MedVet is one of the largest veterinarian-owned, veterinarian-led multispecialty and emergency practices in the country.  In keeping with MedVet’s collaborative approach to patient care, the specialties available include: anesthesia, cardiology, critical care, dermatology, internal medicine, integrative medicine, interventional radiology, medical oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, radiation oncology, radiology, rehabilitation and surgery.  Our Clinical Studies Center offers exciting opportunities to participate in collaborative initiatives with MedVet specialists and veterinarians worldwide.

Engaged candidates will work with MedVet leadership and front-line caregivers across the organization to accomplish the objectives of MedVet’s Mission, Values and Strategic Priorities.

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Doctoral degree in veterinary medicine
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in specialty and/or emergency medicine
  • Board certification in a veterinary specialty is preferred
