Client Service Representative - Veterinary Cancer and Rehab Center

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets is currently seeking a Client Services Representative to join our team in our Chicago practice.  We are seeking an individual that is team oriented and has excellent communication skills with fellow colleagues, clients and the referral community. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment and is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care. The recruited candidate will combine teamwork, leadership and compassion to develop client relationships.

  • Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering phones, guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
  • Placing outbound calls for follow-ups
  • Presenting and explaining fees, and processing payments
  • Answering questions regarding products and services
  • Explaining delays to clients and ensuring the comfort of clients and pets during their wait
  • Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence
  • Hospital maintenance, ensuring facility is neat and clean at all times

Along with a positive attitude and a high degree of energy, qualified candidates will have a solid understanding of hospitality and customer care, excellent communication skills, be outgoing and self-motivated, and have the ability to maintain a pleasant, professional, and empathetic demeanor at all times.

  • General computer competency required including Microsoft word and excel. 
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs. 
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Previous experience in veterinary setting preferred.

Shift:  The position is full time, first shift.  Weekends, on-call and holidays based on needs of the department.
